Diane is a food safety educator with UConn Extension. For over 25 years, she has been working with farmers, food processors, food service personnel and home cooks, targeting issues that affect the food system from the farm to the table. She has worked with state, regional and national Extension food safety colleagues, regulators and industry. Her experiences give her a unique perspective on the responsibility of all participants in the food system to work towards a safer food supply. Diane has a BS in human nutrition and food from Cornell University; a Masters in Public Health from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and was trained as a Registered Dietitian.
