UConn Master Gardeners
Taking Calls!
UConn master gardeners are now available to answer home gardeners’ questions about problems they might be encountering with their lawns, flower beds, vegetable gardens, shrubs, and trees. The master gardeners have completed a three month training period to prepare them. They diagnose specimens brought to the office, answer phone queries, and provide printed information to clients.
Volunteering to provide assistance to home gardeners is part of the Master Gardeners’ preparation for UConn Master Gardener certification.
