Welcome to the Tolland County Extension Center, housed at the Tolland Agricultural Center in Vernon along with the Connecticut Small Business Development Center and the North Central Conservation District. The grounds of this center have four other buildings/barns which are used for agricultural events such as the 4-H Fair, 4-H Club Meetings, Horse Shows, and the Connecticut Sheep Breeders Association Sheep Show.

- Commodity-specific IPM Manuals, Journal and Proceedings Articles. UConn IPM manuals available for sweet corn, peppers, and cole crops.
- Applied Research Program. Conduct field trials on pest monitoring systems, action thresholds, resistant varieties, mechanical controls, trap crops, repellents, microbial and other selective pesticides.
Statewide Programming in Agricultural Financial Planning and Risk Management
- Individual one-on-one consultation sessions for agricultural producers with Joseph Bonelli set up by appointment on financial planning and related topics.
- One-on-one consultation sessions for agricultural producers with a business professional organized by the Risk Management Team to be made available for signup during last quarter 2006 and first quarter 2007. Topics for discussion will be on a variety of topics.
- State wide conference on marketing scheduled for March 2007 organized by the Risk Management Team.
- State wide conference on pesticide use and safety, applicator recertification and transitioning to organic organized by the Risk Management Team.
